Mini-christmas project

Over the past 2 days I have made a small project of a snow-scene. It featured falling snowflakes at different times so that every snowflake had a unique speed of falling downwards. It only uses a small amount of code featured on the picture. That piece of code was duplicated in all of the 4 sprites. The code was basically making the sprite fall down at different speeds forever. So that meant all 4 sprites fell down forever at different speeds.

Editing a Python Quiz

Today, I learnt how to make an "if" statement in Python when I was making a quiz. I also learnt how to make simple calculations and questions like "What is your name". I would reply with my name and it would reply back with a message. I learnt how to use the "#" command. The # command basically creates notes for the person doing the quiz.

Quiz Evaluation

I personally think that I could improve my quiz by practicing at home and trying to make the quiz work fluently. Some of my strengths were that I included logical questions that would get the audience thinking hard about the question and attempting to read it 2 or more times to understand it better.

I also think that I could have improved my quiz by asking for help if I need it and contribute more to the topic of quizzes on Scratch because I think that's a big factor.

Scratch Quiz

Our class has been creating the scripts for our character sprite with the assistance of Kerem. We made it so that  the main character says the question for the participant to answer in a text box. It was hard to create at first but we had a rough idea of how to make it and throughout making this quiz it got easier and easier. This is one screenshot of my script for my main character.

Shortcuts (Scratch)

Shortcuts can be quite easy and efficient to use at most times because the first way of code, you needed to manually repeat it to make a loop, although the last way of code is more efficient because you don't need to manually repeat it at times and with a few slots being moved, it can work alot better than the other way. It's quite easy and good to use.

SaferInternetDay is a special day to remind everyone that uses the internet to remember about making the internet a better and safer place. The mission of SaferInternetDay is to empower citizens to use the internet, the mobile phone, as well as other online technologies positively, safely and effectively.

https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk

ThinkUknow is pretty similar to SafetyNetKids, but there are a few differences and similarities regarding safety..
ThinkUknow has a Q&A center where you ask questions regarding your problems/concerns over the internet or in real life. Your concern can vary to being blackmailed online or if you think you're being used in a relationship or anything related to problems regarding relationships online or in real life. It doesn't necessarily have to be about relationships, but anything that makes you feel weird inside. Maybe you feel like you're being stalked, or if someone's e-mailing you inappropriate pictures etc.
